DECEMBER BOOK HAUL 2018
As if this isn’t already obvious, I have an obsession with secondhand, yellow-paged, library-scented novels because I’d like to think they’re more poetic than the brand new ones. This December, I have another book haul for you guys. Can you smell the old-book scent from your screens? That’s right, we have plenty of them to go through today.
Story time: I had my older sister, Den, go with me to the city and I sort of low-key mentioned about this secondhand novels book shop where I found the books in my last haul five months ago. She’s also a sucker for books so we both ditched our lunch plans and went to the bookstore instead. What came after us were 8 lovely books in these two thick plastic bags with its scent lingering around the streets of Vigan.
