April 2016 | Poetry Camp

Most of the poems that I wrote in the month of April (2016) were from the poetry projects called, Subway Teeth, Aquarians, Elysian and Rowan. These poetry projects were initially published in Wattpad but were pulled out two years later when I announced my relationship with Ramson and Rockwell Press

Note that these poems are only drafts and not the edited and revised, which means that you will find mistakes and errors as you read. Also, my writing style and skills are evolving constantly overtime and that this page is only a storage for all of the poems that I wrote and that I made public so you can join me in this writing journey.

April 2, 2016 | Maniac Kids

For some reason,

I find your lies appetizing

like maniac kids swirling their brandy

and blowing bold black smoke

from their lit cigarettes

Piercing their tongue with inconsistency

and rum and all gems in between

as they dive deeper into the unknown

and scream as they burn their lungs

April 3, 2016 | Which Poem?

Which poem

have I come undone

talking about the birth of your death

and the pain in your bliss

and the convenience in your grave?

April 4, 2016 | Pink Poetry

Carry me to the confessional

and I’ll bless your scream with your holy name

like cream and white pages with a purple prose

and I’ll be forgiven

my repentance on the copper of your lips

April 6, 2016 | A Cliff Ahead

Suppled leather

in the feet of a lost soul

heavier and more painful in a concrete road

with a cliff ahead

April 7, 2016 | Suppled Leather

You shy away from inconsistency

your voice, a broken wool

with a hint of velvet short moments ago,

now, it’s a suppled leather

April 8, 2016 | Give Up

You have only walked so far

an hour for a step

a scream and a moan of daily complaints

Crusty cravings

for a silver in your mouth

and your lips are kids’ temper

zipping and unzipping that stack of receipts

with your rubbish in it

April 9, 2016 | Aquarians

And had they dreamt

pressed their foreheads against the windowsills

and black flies buzzing

for what else could Uranus offer?

for cold and thirst there were

until Gemini and Libra brought a surge

and those stars burned brighter since

April 10, 2016 | Underdressed

Undressed himself slowly

ice freezing him to youth forever

mind forever wise

heart forever pure

soul forever lost

April 11, 2016 | Manna

For each drop God let us have,

we craved

and we did want more

more than what was given

more than dew and moist and coolness on our faces

We wanted an ocean

a surge that would wash so strong

we get baptized all over again

April 12, 2016 | Weeds

You found it impossible

to grow weeds in a plantation of arrogant sunflowers

and somehow the roots anchor deep

in the soil of caducity

for they learned to build home

not in the surface of the earth

but in the deeper dimension

where the tunnel is burning with lights

April 13, 2016 | You said you have forgiven me

You said you have forgiven me

my everything:

the dullness in my voice

the bitterness in my guts

the partition in my lips

the scars in my knees

as I chased after you

dream after dream, night after night

whenever I went

in a hundred billion realms,

you were there

and you had forgiven me

April 17, 2016 | What I’m not capable to grasp

This was the biggest foul play

descending in a pit of mercy

unto myself, I swallow my pills thrice

Once for the beauty of the world I’m not capable to grasp

Twice for the body I have loathed my entire life

April 19, 2016 | Itchy

I’d shovel the itch

one body to the next

dig deeper, plough

blood clot screaming farewell to my flesh

bones as angry as the ants I crushed beneath my knuckles

one body to the other

slavery to detriment to decay

until the itch pleads on its knees to depart

April 23, 2016 | One step at a time

One step at a time

Try twice

no one is watching

Your eyes are watchful

a memory, an attachment in folded papers

piled and organized

between the two pull-out drawers,

yours were on the potential list

and I was on the rejected

April 24, 2016 | Insomniac

My stomach is situated

between an impossible paramount

and the ghost of a never-ending torment

tighter and tighter it gets

the rust dust in my fingers lingering more

a sickening heartbreak song looped in reverse

and they stop for a moment

Insomnia curling around my beaten mattress

I lay in it till the day I am released

April 25, 2016 | Urban Life

Kissed the roadworks goodbye

ahead my destination

Urban life now a pine needle

amongst capsulated sand grains

April 28, 2016 | Maybe next time

Maybe the next time we see each other,

we’re all just silly smiles and giddy daggers
